Everything's Amazing and Nobody's Happy

http://www.greenbackuniversity.com/wp-content/themes/Mimbo/images/louisforjokes.jpg
First of all, I found this guy so funny he took such a common topic and turned it into humor which drew my attention. I really think that the key in reaching teenagers to such important topic is humor, not dirty humor but simply and easy to understand. But I agree with everything he said about how we humans take advantage of technology and use it for their needs. Even though I understand that technology is for us to use but what I mean is that we all rely on it to much that now we actually start blaming the technology for our mistake. Due to technology no matter how good it is, it caused many people to become lazy and make it run their life. Another thing is that we don't really appreciate the whole "technology" thing, i mean there has been so many cool inventions in technology. For example a new internet came out and its wireless but it runs a bit slow so most people start freaking out about it, I mean it's wireless! Anyways I think we need to be more evolved about this and understand that takes hard work to create such items plus we can't let technology control us, we need to control it.

Eccentrick Art Show 2009

[Eccentric-Final-Logo.jpg]
I honestly liked this year's art show, starting with the graffiti work near the stairways describing the art show and it's theme. At first I though that I first signed up for security, I felt that I was going to be boring just sitting there and managing a door but it was nothing like that. There was art everywhere that looked amazing, students from every grade putting the time into their art paid off. One reason why I liked this year's art show better was because they added a new feature to the show called "Hip Hop eccentric" where people from the audience were able to participate and show off their poetic minds. I also liked what was going on in tech with the dream houses, the helmets and such because this artwork wasn't only for the painting, music or videos, it was also for for the technology and construction. I liked how the staff and volunteers organized this art show to run smoothly so that everyone would get everything that they paid for. Unlike last year security was most improved this year, the doors were guarded better and teh art was protected well. Like always I enjoyed the videos, many varieties types of videos like horror, comedy, love and action. Sure there were some things that could be improved but those things were forgotten due to the excellent work of the "Eccentrick Art Show 2009"

Cell Phone Manners

http://vishalip.files.wordpress.com/2009/02/ba-cell_phones_schools_04985297871.jpg
Cell phones have a great impact for us today, not only is it just any other machine but it's one of most items where people can't survive without. Today many parents suffer from paying their child's phone bill because of their constant use with the cell phone and use of the minutes included in the plan. There are different types of cell phones users, there is the one who only use it for emergencies only which is actually the real reason for a cell phone. Then there also those who cannot live without their phone because they use it as a part of life to communicate and organize themselves. It's good to have a cell phone but you should know it's only a source of communication not lifestyles. If i had to create five rules for using or controlling a cell phone, my rules would be "only use your phone for emergencies", "try and not use the cell phone a lot to save money", for students or teenagers "spent a maximum amount of 150 minutes per week", "only start to text when you are certain that your minutes are down to the last few" and the last one is for all users "remember to use the cell phones with responsibility."

Colossal U Ad Campaign! hahaha what a joke!

At first, I though that this advertisement was made by other universities trying to make Colossal University look bad but when my friends explained that Colossal University made these advertisements themselves, all I could say was "wow". "Every student will turn out the same", who do they think they are? A creator, well no. NO one can turn out the same as anyone else, everyone has their own right to learn and live. It seems like Colossal University doesn't seem to care about their students well what student in their right mind would go there, anyways honestly I think the professors don't even know the students names and how old they are, all I think they know is when class ends and how to assign random students with random work. This university is totally weird because it does the opposite of what better universities do which is letting students pick what courses they want and what future the students wants but Colossal picks the courses and they also technically pick the future for them to. Again I say who would go there, If Colossal was my last option, I still wouldn't pick it. Are they losing money? I think that because not many students go there is many why they must be running out of profit and money.
I feel bad for whoever goes there, their lives are written for them and there is no freedom that Colossal University.

Even though I play a lot of games, I don't spend time playing it at school only when I want to is when I actually focus and play. I'm just like any other gamer, when I start playing its so hard for me to stop even if I know that work is to be done, I'll just say to myself "maybe later" or "I'll do work tomorrow". With attitude like that work will be pending and I'll struggle later. It's true that gaming these days is very addicting due to the changes of the technology and the graphics that has gaming experience realistic and fun. Usually when I get a new game, it depends how fun it is anyways I would play it for a long time until I get bored of it which would usually be about one month later. In my opinion this year there were not many good games coming out anyways so this year was actually that year where I didn't do so much gaming until the "gears of war 2" edition came out. There game was like a "welcome invitation" to gaming, that game was so fun to play, I honestly was addicted to it, I forgot all about units and played it. Weeks go by and I end not playing games for a while. I honestly think that wasting money on games that is only worth playing for a week or two, its better of getting games that you like and know that its worth your money. Think about it, you see a game that looks good because of the cover or someone told about it and clearly don't like it but you get for stupid reasons like everyone has it. True story, people kept saying me "why don't you it Halo 3? Its so sick!" I know that its an exclusive game but I don't like that game period, its too plain for me and of course I still didn't get it. Also there is another point that was writing that gaming causes people to stay inside and have no physical activities outside. Although gaming is what I like to do, nothing can stop me from playing outside. In conclusion, I say that gaming is a great experience but control it so they you don't worry your life in gaming. Have fun with it but remember there is a lot more to do with your life than sitting inside playing for hours when you can go outside, get some fresh air and basically have fun.

I really liked the beer advertisement, it was very funny, "what's up"! I also think that the second advertisement expressed a great and truthful message about "change" and "opportunity" for America . I found that using the beer advertisement was brilliant and bringing a whole new point to educate the voter to make the right choice.
